Westwood Nurseries is a long established wholesale nursery near to Carlisle with 7 acres of glasshouse and external areas of high quality hardy shrubs and bedding.

Refurbishment of the site since acquisition by our parent company Linton Tweeds Ltd in 2003 has included the establishment of a garden retail outlet which has everything you need for your garden.

‘Where quality counts’ is our slogan and objective and we have built a reputation for quality of plants and service.

Westwood have been bedding and basket suppliers to Carlisle City Council since 2005 and we have developed a close working relationship which has lead to Britain in Bloom awards for several areas of the City.

Our design team is lead by an experienced Chartered Landscape Architect who offers everything from a garden design service to large scale commercial developments. Our landscape contract services specialise in planting and turfing works and we have completed some prestigious projects in recent years. The Landscaping page has full details.
